    (转载)中国遥感地学之父陈述彭院士逝世

    中国遥感地学之父、中国科学院院士陈述彭先生，因病治疗无效，于11月25日晚20时05分在京逝世，享年88岁。
     
    陈述彭，地理学、地图学、遥感应用专家。1920年2月生于江西省萍乡市，1942年毕业于浙江大学，1980年当选为中国科学院院士(学部委员)。第三世界科学院院士，国际欧亚科学院院士，加拿大卡尔顿大学研究教授，原武汉测绘大学名誉教授，中国科学院研究生院终身教授，法国地理学会荣誉会员。
     
    历任中国遥感应用协会专家委员会主任，中国科学院遥感应用研究所名誉所长，国家环境保护总局科技顾问委员会主任委员，中国环境保护国际合作委员会委员，国际减灾十年委员会科技顾问。著有多种学术著作。
